License terms

This is a translation for your convenience. If there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.

What FormaKit3D is

FormaKit3D is a web application to design parametric parts and 3D print them. You can use every tool without a license; to export files (STL, 3MF and the sales pack) you need a license.

Licenses

Licenses are bought with a one-time payment and last for life. Commercial lets you use the app and sell the printed parts you design with it. Commercial Plus also lets you sell or distribute the digital files (STL, 3MF) of the designs you make with the app.

What no license allows

Reselling, sublicensing, sharing, publishing or distributing the application, its code, its license keys or the export module; using one license on more than one device at the same time; or trying to bypass activation. The parts and files you design are yours according to your plan; the application is not.

Activation and devices

Each license works on one device. You can switch devices by releasing it from the app, up to 2 times every 30 days. The app checks with the license server when it opens to renew the activation.

FormaKit3D Club

The Club is an optional subscription, only for people who already own a license. Tools and effects released while you are subscribed remain yours even if you cancel. Models in the Club gallery can be printed and sold as physical parts, but they can not be sold, shared or redistributed as files, under any plan. If you cancel, you keep the models you already downloaded but cannot download new ones.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by MercadoPago or PayPal. If a payment is refunded, disputed or voided, the corresponding license is deactivated.

License blocking

We may block a license if it is used against these terms (for example, if its key is shared or published).

Warranty

The app is provided as is. We check every tool with automated tests, but every printer, material and setting is different: test your parts before using them for anything critical. We are not liable for damages arising from the use of printed parts.

Changes

We may update these terms; changes are published on this page with their date.
